Do I need an account to use Ripple?
No. Ripple has no login or account. Every feature works the moment you open the app.
How do I change my focus and break lengths?
Tap the gear icon in the top-right to open Settings. Use the steppers to adjust focus, short break, and long break durations, and how often a long break occurs.
What are the four break types?
Memory Photo (a full-screen photo from your library), Music (a track from your own library), Guided Breathing (a 4-4-4-4 box-breathing animation), and Dark Rest (the screen dims to rest your eyes).
Why does Ripple ask for Photos or Music access?
Only so it can show a photo you choose, or play a song you choose, during a break. These are requested only when you tap those break types, and nothing ever leaves your device.
Is my data collected or uploaded?
No. Ripple makes no network calls and collects no data. Your photos, music, and settings stay on your device. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I revoke a permission I granted?
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, then choose Photos or Media & Apple Music and adjust Ripple's access. The core timer works without any permissions.
The completion sound isn't playing.
Check that your device isn't in silent mode and that a sound other than "Silence" is selected in Settings → Completion Sound. Selecting a sound plays a quick preview.
